There’s no doubt…I get more clicks when I talk about the Grammys, the same as the NFL gets more viewers when they show Taylor Swift montages.
At the end of the day, neither really accomplishes anything, because pop culture gets boring after a while.
Sure, I’d love to sit here & discuss the sheer power of Usher’s halftime show, and how songs from the early 2000s are far superior to the horseshit released so often today, and how the Super Bowl halftime experience is the pinnacle of musical performance, and how i can’t name any artist that’s come out since 2015 that possesses the talent / catalog to pull off a production of that magnitude (if you just said Zach Bryan in your head, fuck off)…
oh and also how rollerskating suddenly seems so easy when Usher’s doing it???
Nevertheless, I must bestow my more important burdens upon you today.

Dave Chapelle has been dropping in to The Hotel Cafe and hosting last minute shows for the past few months now.
He let’s the venue know he’s coming, and they open doors on a moment’s notice…(like we’re talkin 2 hrs notice, which is pretty insane for a dude that big)
